Privacy Statement
The privacy of your customer data, orders and credit cards are important to us. We will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party.
We will only send you email newsletters if you opt in. You may unsubscribe at any time. Please note security settings on our site means access to members areas is reduced to a basic level for un-subscribed members members.

Ordering Online
You must be an authorised person from a licensed premise or other recognised trade liquor outlet to order from this site. It is against the law for you to purchase, or for us to supply liquor to the public or to persons under the age of 18
If you are a member of the public you may purchase from one of our retail outlets or order online from The Whisky Shop
Payment Terms
Off License: On account customers: Payment is due on the 20th after end of month.
On license: Payment is due in advance before goods are dispatched. Extended terms available by agreement for long-standing customers
Payment Methods:
Payment may be made by Direct credit (Bank Account Number will be advised), or by cheque payable to Malts of Distinction Ltd
Our Delivery Policy
We will process your order within 1 business day or where applicable following payment in cleared funds. Payment by online banking cannot be checked until the next business day. If a delay is expected we will inform you of the anticipated dispatch date.
We will send you an email notifying you when your order has been shipped.
Delivery Method: Your selections will be delivered to your door via Courier - a signature is required
Deliveries can only be made to licensed premises
Delivery Times: We aim to deliver within 3 working days if your item is in stock.
Packaging: All orders will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery
Returns Policy
We ask that you choose your order carefully as we do not normally provide a refund if you have changed your mind.
If goods are proven damaged or faulty, we will provide a replacement free of charge under the Consumer Guarantees Act. It may be obvious that a shipment is damaged. I.e. sound of broken glass or obvious leakage, in this instance you do not have to accept delivery, simply contact us with your order details to arrange a replacement. Should the item no longer be available we will credit your account with the appropriate amount or send an alternative as required.
Should products prove to be not as described we will arrange for the item to be picked up at our cost and a replacement sent or credit issued.
Ownership Of Goods
All goods remain the sole property of Malts of Distinction Ltd. until such time as they are paid for in full. We reserve the right to retrieve such goods at any time should a satisfactory agreement regarding payment not be reached. We reserve the right to apply payments to invoices as we see fit. Generally payments will be applied to the oldest outstanding invoice.
