Terms and Conditions

You must be an authorised person from a licensed premise or other recognised trade liquor outlet to order from this site. It is against the law for you to purchase, or for us to supply liquor to the public or to persons under the age of 18

If you are a member of the public you may purchase from one of our retail outlets

Payment Terms

Off License: Payment is due on the 20^th after end of month.

On license: Payment is due in advance or C.O.D. unless otherwise agreed.

Payment Methods:

Payment may be made by Direct credit (Bank Account Number will be advised)

Or by cheque payable to Malts of Distinction Ltd

Our Delivery Policy

Quick delivery: We aim to despatch and deliver your order to you as quickly as possible.

Delivery Method and Labelling: Your selections will be delivered to your door via Courier or if an international delivery via New Zealand Post International Air.

Deliveries can only be made to licensed premise or to the residence of the business owner. Deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes and will not be made to Hotels/Motels unless the order is placed by the proprietor or person authorised by that establishment.
Delivery Times: We aim to deliver within 7 days if your item is in stock.
Packaging: All orders will be carefully wrapped to ensure safe delivery
Website updates: Stock levels on our website are updated frequently and whilst we make every effort to ensure that these match the reality, there may be occasions when an item has become out of stock. Should this happen we will contact you and offer an alternative or where possible place a back order for you.

Returns Policy

We ask that you choose your purchase carefully as we do not normally provide a refund if you have changed your mind.

If goods are proven damaged or faulty, we will provide a replacement free of charge under the Consumer Guarantees Act. It may be obvious that a shipment is damaged. I.e. sound of broken glass or obvious leakage, in this instance you do not have to accept delivery, simply contact us with your order details to arrange a replacement. Should the item no longer be available we will credit your account with the appropriate amount or send an alternative as required.
Should products prove to be not as described we will arrange for the item to be picked up at our cost and a replacement sent or credit issued.

Ownership Of Goods

All goods remain the sole property of Malts of Distinction Ltd. until such time as they are paid for in full. We reserve the right to retrieve such goods at any time should a satisfactory agreement regarding payment not be reached.

Privacy Statement

E-mails. In compliance with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007: should you not wish to receive any further Emails from us you will be given the option to unsubscribe.
Secure Account: We use every means available to protect your sensitive information - that's why when you initially order from us, you will need to register as a customer by opening an account.

Goods purchased from The Whisky Shop

Goods purchased from the Whisky Shop (NZ) Ltd are covered by a separate agreement from that business. Malts of Distinction has

no ownership and takes no responsibility for such goods.
